Aside from great skiing at Pine Mountain Resort, there are a number of other activities one can enjoy during a U.P. Winter.

Cross Country Skiing

• Fumee Lake Natural Area: 2 Miles east of Iron Mountain on US-2 is the Fumme Lake Natural Area.  This is a great place to cross country ski.  It contains a 7 mile, 2 mile and 1 mile loop.  The cross country ski trail is groomed.
• Iron Mountain City Park:  Contains a groomed cross country ski trail and is only minutes from our resort.
• Lake Mary Plains:  West on M-69 from Sagola and south on Glidden Lake Road is Lake Mary's Plains which consists of groomed cross country ski trails that are groomed.

Spend the day ice fishing or snowmobiling.  There are hundreds of lakes and thousands of miles of trails to explore.  Check out more details on this in our Outdoor activities section!
